O trabalho teve como objetivo a avaliação do teor de fibra bruta em cultivares de feijão-vagem (Phaseolus vulgaris. L) de crescimento determinado e indeterminado. Foram utili-zadas cultivares de crescimento determinado (CNF6241 – HAB 4 e CNF6242 – HAB 5) e indeterminado (CNF8616 – HAV 14, CNF8632 – HAV 56, CNF8634 – HAV 62), prove-nientes do Banco de Germoplasma do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa do Arroz e Feijão da Embrapa, determinado (Macar-rão Rasteiro e Rasteiro Fartura) e indeterminado (Macarrão Trepador) oriundas da Hortivale, as mais cultivadas no Agres-te de Pernambuco. Num ensaio conduzido no Campus da Uni-versidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE), com deli-neamento experimental em blocos casualizados com três repe-tições e 8 tratamentos, efetuou-se amostragens de vagens, após colheita, debulha e secagem. A determinação da fibra bruta foi efetuada no Laboratório de Química Vegetal da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco. Foram retiradas 4 gramas de vagens secas (cascas) de uma amostra homogênea e procedeu-se a quantificação analítica da fibra bruta. Os resultados mos-traram alto teor de fibra para os genótipos estudados. O genó-tipo CNF8638 – HAV 67 apresentou o valor mais alto (23,10%), enquanto, o acesso CNF8632 – HAV 56 obteve o menor valor (14,78%), ambas pertencentes ao Banco de ger-moplasma do CNPAF-EMBRAPA. O genótipo mais indicado para consumo “in natura” foi a CNF8638 – HAV 67.

The work had as objective the evaluation of the con-tent of gross fiber in cultivars of snap bean (Phaseolus vul-garis. L) of certain and uncertain growth. They were used cultivars of certain load (CNF6241 - HAB 4 and CNF6242 - HAB 5) and uncertain (CNF8616 - HAV 14, CNF8632 - HAV 56, CNF8634 - HAV 62), coming of the Bank of Germo-plasma of the National Center of Research of the Rice and Bean – Embrapa, certain (Macarrão Rasteiro and Rasteiro Fartura) and uncertain (Macarrão Trepador) originating from of Hortivale, the more cultivated in the State Rural of Pernam-buco. In a rehearsal led at the Campus of the Rural Federal University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), with design was random-ized blocks with three repetitions and 8 treatments, occurred to the samplings of beans, after crop, it thrashes and drying. The determination of the gross fiber was made at the Laboratory of Chemistry Vegetable of UFRPE. Four grams of dry pods were removed (peels) from a homogeneous sample and the analytic quantification of the gross fiber was proceeded. The results determined high fiber tenor for the studied genotypical. The genotypical CNF8638 - HAV 67 presented the highest value (23,10%), while the access CNF8632 - HAV 56 obtained the smallest value (14,78%), both belonging to the Bank of ger-moplasma of CNPAF-EMBRAPA. The most suitable geno-typical for consumption " in nature " was CNF8638 - HAV 67.
