O cultivo hidropônico vem sendo empregado em nosso país, em escala comercial e com sucesso, principalmente na produção de alface e de outras folhosas. Sabe-se que a aplicação de fitorreguladores, associados a adubos, tem proporcionado bons resultados na agricultura. Entretanto, estudos em cultivo hidropônico comercial inexistem. Visando estudar o efeito da aplicação de fitorregulador comercial na produção de alface (Lactuca sativa L.) cv. Grand Rapids cultivada em hidroponia, sistema NFT, conduziu-se ensaio, com delineamento estatístico em blocos ao acaso, com 6 tratamentos, envolvendo aplicação foliares semanais do produto em teste nas doses 50, 100, 150, 200 e 500 ml/100 L de água e testemunha, e 4 repetições. Os resultados obtidos permitiram concluir que a inclusão do fitorregulador proporcionou aumentos estatísticos de produção, não ocorrendo diferenças entre as doses.

The hydroponic culture comes being employed in our country, in a commercial scale with success, manly in the lettuce production and others plants. Its known that the application of phytoregulator, in association with fertilizer, which has proportionate good results in the agriculture. However, there are no studies in commercial hydroponic cultivation. The objective of the work was study the effect of the application of the commercial phytoregulator in the production of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) cv. Grand Rapids in hydroponic culture, NFT system.. The statistical delineament employed was the blocks at random, with 6 treatments, involving leafs application of the product in test at the doses 50, 100, 150, 200 and 500 ml/ 100 L of water, and 4 repetitions. The results obtained permitted conclude that the inclusion of the phytoregulator tests proportionate increased statistical of production not occurring differences between the doses.
