O cultivo de plantas medicinais em nosso meio, está se tornando cada vez mais importante, devido o grande uso na farmacologia. O tomilho (Thymus vulgaris L.), tem como principal componente o Timol, e também outros fenóis, que atuam sobre alguns órgãos. Como a literatura é omissa, no que diz respeito ao cultivo de plantas medicinais, o objetivo do trabalho em questão foi estudar o desenvolvimento do tomilho (Thymus vulgaris L.) cultivado com biossólido de origem suína e tratado com biofertilizantes comerciais aplicados via foliar. O delineamento estatístico foi de blocos inteiramente casualizados, contendo oito tratamentos, com quatro repetições, onde foram realizadas pulverizações foliares quinzenais. Cada parcela constou de um lamiando plástico de 3l de capacidade, cotendo solo corrigido quanto à acidez, com calcário dolomítico calcinado.Quanto a avaliação considerou-se o peso verde da parte aérea e peso verde da raiz. Os resultados obtidos, mostraram que em relação ao desenvolvimento das raízes os tratamentos não se diferenciaram estatísticamente. Quanto a parte aérea pode-se concluir que os biofertilizantes Megafol (200 ml / 100 l) e Aminoplus (100 ml / 100 l), foram os mais eficientes.

The cultivation of medicinal plants nowadays, he/she is becoming more and more important, due the great use in the pharmacology. The thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.), has as main component Timol, and also other phenols, that act on some organs. As the literature is omitted, in what its concerns the cultivation of medicinal plants, the objective of this work in subject was to study the development of the thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) cultivated with biossolid of pig origin and treaty with applied commercial biofertilizantes through foliating. The statistical design was completely casual between blocks, containing eight treatments, with four repetitions, where pulverizations were biweekly accomplished foliate. Each portion consisted of a plastic laminate of 3l of capacity, with corrected soil as for the acidity, with limestone dolomitic calcinate. About the evaluation it, was considered the green weight of the aerial part and green weight of the root. The obtained results, showed that in relation to the development of the roots the treatments didn't differ statistically. As the aerial part can be said that the biofertilizers Megafol (200 ml / 100 l) and Aminoplus (100 ml /100l) were more efficient.
