O uso de água da bacia hidrográfica do rio Jaguari Mirim para abastecimento público, indústria e irrigação é crescente e em algumas situações pode ter atingido a vazão limite do rio, apontando para problemas futuros. O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de avaliar a vazão mínima mensal do rio Jaguari Mirim, em série histórica de 50 anos tendo como base a Distribuição de Extremos Tipo I. Os resultados mostram a possibilidade de uma vez a cada 10 anos da vazão mínima do rio não atender a demanda de uso, tendo como referência o uso do ano de 2.000 e que a situação poderá se agravar nos próximos dez anos.

The water use of Jaguari Mirim river drainage basin to public, industrial and irrigation supply, is increasing and in some situations has already reached the limit flow of the river, indicating future problems. The present work has the purpose to evaluate the Jaguari Mirim river month minimum flow, in a hystorical series of data from 50 years by the Extreme Value Type I Distribution or Gumbel’s Distribution. The results show which exist a probability of one time in ten years that the minimum river flow do not supply the water demand, based in multiple use from the year 2.000 and the situation can be graved in the next ten years.
