ANÁLISE ESTATISTICA DA QUALIDADE DAS ÁGUAS E PROPOSTAS DE GESTÃO NA BACIA DE ABASTECIMENTO DA CIDADE DE PINHEIRO MACHADO, RS

Resumo
A água é um recurso natural muito importante para a vida, entretanto ela é vulnerável à degradação de sua qualidade, o que pode comprometer a saúde e bem-estar da população. Este trabalho teve como objetivo determinar as condições da bacia de captação de água e a qualidade da água que abastece a cidade de Pinheiro Machado - RS. Através de observações in loco na bacia de captação e por meio do uso de técnicas de estatística descritiva e indutiva (estimação por intervalo) concluiu-se que as propriedades físicas, químicas e biológicas da água estão dentro dos padrões estabelecidos na legislação. Porém, são propostas medidas de antecipação ambiental e de educação que visam à manutenção das condições da qualidade do manancial. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF WATER QUALITY AND BASIN MANAGEMENT PROPOSALS IN THE CITY OF PINHEIRO MACHADO, RS ABSTRACT Water is a very important natural resource for life, however it is vulnerable to the degradation of its quality, which can compromise the health and well-being of the population. This work aims to determine the conditions of a basin water and the quality of the water that supplies the city of Pinheiro Machado - RS. Through direct observations on the basin and also by the use of descriptive and inductive statistics techniques (estimation by interval), it was concluded that the physical, chemical and biological properties of water are within the standards established in the legislation. However, measures were proposed to advance environmental care and education aiming to maintain the quality conditions of the spring.
