O GERENCIAMENTO DOS RESÍDUOS NO ATENDIMENTO BÁSICO A SAÚDE DE APARECIDA DE GOIÂNIA/GO

Resumo
Diante da problemática da geração de resíduos em todos os setores das atividades humanas e enfatizando os resíduos oriundos dos estabelecimentos de saúde, os quais necessitam de maior atenção no que tange ao seu gerenciamento, a elaboração e efetivação do Plano de Gerenciamento de Resíduos de Serviço de Saúde (PGRSS) é imprescindível. Em unidades de atenção básica à saúde, pela grande quantidade destes estabelecimentos, se faz necessária a existência do PGRSS, pois contribuem significativamente na geração de resíduos. Este trabalho analisou aspectos do Gerenciamento dos Resíduos de Serviço de Saúde nas unidades públicas de atenção básica à saúde do município de Aparecida de Goiânia/GO. Através de visitas aos locais em questão, constatou-se que todos os estabelecimentos apresentavam falhas em alguma das etapas do gerenciamento de resíduos, desrespeitando as legislações e evidenciando um grave problema à saúde dos funcionários das unidades de saúde, população e ao meio ambiente. WASTE MANAGEMENT IN THE BASIC HEALTH SERVICE OF APARECIDA DE GOIÂNIA/GO ABSTRACT Regarding the problem of waste in all sectors of human activities and emphasizing waste from healthcare establishments, which require more attention in terms of their management, the preparation and execution of the Waste Management Plan Health Service (PGRSS) is essential. In primary health care units, because of the large number of these establishments, the existence of PGRSS is necessary, because they significantly contribute to the generation of waste. This paper analyzed the Management of Health Services Residues in public units of primary health care in the city of Aparecida de Goiânia/GOO. Through visits to the places at issue it was found that all establishments had failures in some of the waste management steps, disrespecting laws and showing a serious problem to the health of employees of health facilities, population and the environment.
