O objetivo deste estudo teve como foco pesquisar os aspectos da motivação do professor de Educação Física Escolar. A motivação do educador é muito importante no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, porém é pouco estudada (em grande parte, os estudos se concentram apenas na motivação do aluno). Após uma revisão bibliográfica e uma busca pela internet, aplicou-se um questionário aos profissionais da área, procurando entender a visão dos mesmos sobre o assunto e os principais fatores que interferem na sua motivação. As questões foram respondidas por professores de escolas públicas e particulares que trabalham com adolescentes, na região de Campinas (SP). The aim of this study focused on research the motivational aspects of Physical Education teacher. The teacher’s motivation is very important to the teaching-learning process, although it’s been not very studied (most of the studies concentrate in student’s motivation). After a bibliographic review and a virtual search at the Internet, an inventory (questionary) had been applied to the teachers, trying to understand their vision about this issue and the factors that affect their motivation. The questions had been answered by public and private school teachers, working with teenage students in the region of Campinas-SP-Brazil.
