No decurso da vida podemos dizer que estamos em pleno processo de aprendizagem, onde muitas vezes somos educadores e muitas outras tantas somos aprendizes. É importante ressaltar que independentemente da formação, classe social, raça, gênero, da condição nos papéis que desempenhamos na sociedade, aprendemos – ensinamos. Somos modelos e temos constantemente modelos. Quantas situações nos deparamos no cotidiano, especificamente no ambiente escolar e invertemos os papéis, ou seja, ora somos professores – educadores, ora somos alunos. A história deste projeto de pesquisa nasce numa instituição sócio-educativa de caráter não escolar, com a finalidade de preencher um tempo ocioso de crianças e adolescentes entre sete a treze anos primeiramente, cujos pais necessitavam trabalhar fora do lar. Trata-se do Projeto Sol Morumbi, na cidade de Paulínia- SP, idealizado para prevenir situações de risco nesta parcela da população. Objetivando ampliar o universo cultural destas crianças de forma prazerosa, construiu-se a prática pela prática.

It is fair to say that we are in constant process of learning, both as pupils or teachers, during our lives. No matter what background we have, social level we belong to, gender, race or the role we play in the society, we always teach and learn. We are the standards for children and children are the standards for us. Many times we face the situation where we switch from teachers to pupils, especially in the educational field. The concern of this project was born in a social educative institution without the formal structure of a regular school, aiming originally to fulfill children and teens’ laziness time (from 7 to 13 years of age), whose parents were involved in their own work. The “Projeto Sol Morumbi” (“Sun Project Morumbi”) situated in the city of Paulínia, State of São Paulo, Brazil, has been developed in order to prevent children from social risks and harms. Moreover, by attempting to widely open their cultural and social universe in a very singular and pleased way, we have built the practice by the practice itself.
