O presente trabalho busca discutir a influência dos conteúdos da cultura corporal dentro das aulas de educação física e sua conseqüente influência na qualidade de participação dos alunos com necessidades educativas especiais durante as atividades propostas. Para tanto, fizemos um breve histórico sobre esse componente curricular diferente dos outros presentes no âmbito escolar por ministrar conteúdos que possibilitam a presença de ritmos variados na construção da linguagem corporal como expressão e modo de apreensão do mundo.

This paper hás the intend to discuss the culture of the body during tha physical education classes and the consequent influence in the quality of participation of students with special needs during these classes. There fore, we did a brief review about this component inside the school, different of the other ones because it ministers contents those make possible to be with people with different rhuthms of constructing the body language as an expression and way to comprehend the world.
